Snowman covered choc bars
Cute cute CUTE !!! I had saved this snowman graphic 2 years ago on my pc and then lost it....know that feeling...LOL.... anyhow I came across it again when sorting out the external hard drive files....YEAH.... So I set about making some....boy did I have trouble finding fleece....anyhow I did get some....so I made the hats by stitching a fleece tube and then adding some elastic cord with beads on the end...I wanted bells but the ones I had were too little or way too big :( so beads it was.... once these were attached I then cut the fleece into strips for the top of the hat..... the scarf was just a strip with a know either end and then 2 snips to make the tails........
Wrapped and ready
How exciting....all wrapped up and ready to go to my craft buddies...you will see a theme develop over the preceeding posts LOL...can you guess what ?? x
Penguins, penguins everywhere LOL..... I had decided to do penguined themed baggies for my bestest craft buddies for christmas this year....I made the card back in August LOL....was weird doing xmas with the sun shining but hey !! I then set about finding some penguin items to go in the baggies.... hope they like them x
Penguin tag for bag
This is the tag I made for the bag...I cut a large snowflake using the sizzix #2 die and then stamped and cut out the penguin from a SU set ( thanks Mary ) and attached the penguin to the snowflake using a SU crystal brad......
Penguin card
OMG..... now isnt this just the most adorable little penguin card you have ever seen.... I love him....I have seen and saved on pc LOADS of ideas with the top note big shot die......I just knew for my craft buddies that I wanted to do this card this year. I lost the file on the PC so wasnt able to do this last year...but hooray I found it again in August this year so I made them there and then LOL..... it uses SU punches again and I just love how it turned out dont you ??? x
Penguin magnet
This is the cute little magnet that went with the socks....I just realsied I didnt get a pair for myself...silly me !!
Pebguin socks
Good old ebay more penguin items found, these socks have a cute fridge magnet of the same penguin too :) into the bag they went....
So of course when I saw these I had to have them to pop in the bag too....I had seen them on Stephs blog but do you think I could find them NO... and I looked everywhere and then in a little sweetie shop up the road from me there they were.... I was in line to pay and I caught sight of them and I was so excited I couldnt wait to get to the till and just hoped there were enough packs for them....phew there were so in the bag they went ......
Mikado biscuits covered
Isnt this guy cute ?? I wanted to cover a choc bar to give to my buddies as part of their gift but having made the cover I couldnt find a bar to fit.... ( dont ask ) ..... so I bought the biscuits and decided to cover those instead.... I used SU punches to make the hat, face, beak, feet and wings, brads for the eyes and oval nestie for tummy that I then embossed. The white edge on his hat is an EK success edger punch and the snowflake is MS punch and a SU brad. I really enjoyed making these :) hope the girlies like them too....
My gifts to my friends
Aren't these just gorgeous....they are penguins filled with smarties....they were on offer in the range and they just had to be bought to go in the penguin themed goody bags :)
Sids treat
This is what they looked like when I bought them from the shop my Leo loves them...so I figured Sid would too. I had found a border terrier stamp last year sometime and this was a perfect opportunity to use it.....hope you enjoy them Sid.... x

Hershey treat chocs all wrapped up and somewhere to go !!!
I have wanted some of these chocs for ages they come from USA.... but they are quite heavy to be posted so when my friend went to NY I asked her to bring some back for me :)
I have seen loads of treat holders on blogs where they are covered with dsp and wrapped up so here goes....
I craft on a Tuesday am with some lovely ladies and I thought they would be the ideal recipients of such treats.....
The supplies are mostly SU the colour is Sage Shadow ( sadly retired ) I used clear baggies from ebay and variuos punches and embossing folders.
I took pics step by step so you have to scroll on down to see the finished items.
I hope the girls enjoy them :)

Choc Chip christmas card
I have made this card using choc chip and very vanilla card the bridesmade papers and serene snowflakes stamp.
I wanted to do "From our house to yours" and theme them to suit the recipients
lounge colours LOL.... luckily 3 of my friends have brown and beige cream decor.
I have one to do black grey and silver and one blue and silver....
I used large choc chip envelopes and ran the flap through an embossing folder...

I won a competition !!!
At the last SU extravaganza day Jenny had a crafters choice competition. You had to make something using mostly SU products...this is what I came up with...I had seen lots of these little people on the net using the larger petal die as well as the SU new petal punch so I set to work...it took me ages to find where I had hidden my booglie eyes LOL....and because it was the day before halloween it was very topical and I WON...woo hoo to me......I got a gift certificate for £25, thanks Jenny......
Halloween gifts for my friends :)
These are the bags I made for my crafting buddies...still keeping up with all the occasions this year phew only one more to go !! Seriously though its great to use the stash of goodies I keep hoarding LOL....I keep telling myself I must use these.... and I do !! I cut the shape using nesties die then embossed with the web folder, punched an oval out for the handle and as you can see from the tag I layered it onto a scalloped black oval...waste not want not... I used the tiny tags word BOO that was tricky as its such a tiny wee cute stamp :) I also punched out a black tag to layer behind it.I merrily went ahead punching lots of them and then realised that I hadnt done the holes for the thread DUH !! its much easier to make the holes in the top of the tiny tag punch whilst it is still in the punch, hold it upside down and just before you punch the tag shape use your pokey tool to make a hole at the top and voila hole ready for thread......or brad or both as I used. I then used the black stripe ribbon and frayed the edges to give an effect ? and tied the bag closed. I filled the plastic baggie inside with assorted sweets in black and orange.....
hope you likey what I have shared today :)

Suspension card
I knew I wanted to make suspension cards for halloween this year as I loved the idea of bats being suspended upside down LOL....
The paper is from the doodlebug collection a few years back. I used glittery black thread which I taped inbetween the paper layer and card layer. I used my circle scissor cutting thing to make the openings.I used a red glitter pen for the eyes on the bats.....
Inside card
This is the inside of the cards. I used the web embossing folder from sizzix. The little spider is from a cuttlebug 3 x 3 halloween die I love the rhinestones for eyes...I tried red stones but they looked evil. Happy halloween stamp is from SU teeny tiny wishes.I used the word window and modern label punch to mat and layer the words.

Baby cards
I love elephants and when I saw this set on ebay I had to have it.....!! ... do you know that feeling ??I 3d the ears arent they cute....I used SU pink pirhouette and bashful blue...they are both really good baby colours....the ribbons match perfectly as does all the SU goods....thats why I love them so much.
Its a blue blue christmas..................
Marina mist blue that is....its one of the new SU colours and I love it !!.I used some of the marina mist DSP as well as white card run through a sizzix embossing folder.
Christmas cards in sage shadow
These cards are made using soft sage SU retired colour and always artichoke and certailnly celery.I had lots of DSP left in these co-ordinating colours so decided to make some xmas cards again 3 x 3.
more cards
These ones used the same technique as navy ones....I used real red and crumb cake this time. The one sheet wonder is a fab way to make your own DSP and then cut to the size you want. Currently I am loving the real cute 3 x 3 cards esp as you can get 8 from 12 x 12 card......
Its beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS !!!!!
These cards use night of navy and crumb cake card stock from SU. I stamped serene snowflakes in both colours all over A4 whisper white and then cut up layers to fit the cards I was making.I used a SU snowflake punch as well as a martha stewart punch. The merry was from the tiny tags SU set.

My other friends are celebrating their 1st wedding anniversary. I knew I wanted to make the card I had seen in the new SU catalogue so here we go..............
I love this punch from SU...I have seen flowers made from the wing and robins made using a part of the wing to make the redbreast...the branch can be used as accent behind flowers also...very versatile....
SU now have self adhesive rhinestones....and pearls......
