Card Candy

I joined a swap on an internet group where you make either a card or a 3D item.

I knew what I wanted to make as I had fallen in love with the card candy that the UK SU girls did for their convention......

I loved the Trendy Trees set that my good friend jenny made so I decided to base mine on hers....imitation is the sincerest form of flattery they say.....

I used lots of SU punches...gotta love them.... and the colours were dictated by the DSP...Old Olive, Really Rust and Sahara Sand.......

Now the girls that receive them just have to pop them off the acetate they are stuck to and voila !!! toppers to go on your cards or tags......

Thanks Jenny for the idea and loan of the stamps as they are on my wish list for next months stampers 6 :))

Soft Summer birthday card

This is a card I made for a friend's birthday at dorset stampers.
I then realised that her birthdya is today !! OOPS sorry Val t will go in the post tonight....sorry

Halloween

This is the halloween card I made for a swap on an internet group I belong to.

Its a step card and they are fun easy and super quick to make.

The house is a die cut which I then ran through the web cuttlebug folder.

The ghosts are also die cuts which went through the divine swirls.

The pumpkin I cut out using fun foam just to give a bit of dimension.

I think something is needed either side of the pumpkin but I dont know what ??

OOPS !!

Has anyone ever cooked a roast dinner but FORGOTTEN to actually cook the roast ????

I did that yesterday.....prepared it all chicken and bacon, potatoes and lots of veg, yorkshires
the whole caboodle.....

3 mins before being ready Tony asked " this may be a silly question BUT where is the main course" ?????

OOPS and double OOPS....guess what we are having for tea tonight ?

Missing in action

Hi Everyone,

Well not so much missing in action just missing really......

Never enough hours in the day to do all you want to is there ??

I needed to make a thinking of you card for a friend as his wife has sadly died.

I used river rock cs and ink and very vanilla.Made an oval template and sponged river rock ink into this. I then used close to cocoa ink to stamp the fern images.Inside the oval I used the second impression and then first impression on the right side.

I used the word windo punch to punch the words out and then the modern label punch to layer it onto.

I am making good headway into my christmas cards.

I decided this year to choose 10 designs and make 10 of each of them.

I will show them here when finished.

I aim to have them done by end of september, am up to 40 so far so heres hoping !!!
