Summer Fun card

I had to make 2 cards for a *Summer Fun* card swap on an internet group that I belong to.

This is what I came up with....what do you think.

I used SU apricot appeal and brilliant blue ink and CS and the stamps are hero arts.

Long time no blog !!

Hello Everyone,

I havent been a good blogger of late....nearly a month I hear you cry !!

My mum has been VERY poorly

both mentally and physically so I have been to and from Wales more times than I care to mention in the last month BUT thankfully

I think she may have turned the corner so I have come back for a while.

I had some sad news on my return that required me to make a sympathy card.......I have a set on order from SU called Close as a Memory which I would have loved to use but it isnt here yet.

SO I used the stampendous Agapanthus stamp instead and did a thinking of you instead....what do you think ?? will it be ok ?

I used black and 2 shades of grey Bazzill CS and SU basic grey ink.

Another cut up card

This card is another cut up card I figured whilst I was making 1 I may as well make 2 lol !!

The word stamp is hero arts and the girl is a bella !!

I used the word window and corner rounder punch from SU.

Cut up card !!

I saw a card like this on a blog hopping spree......sorry cannot remember where....

I used a square card and tore down the right hand side about 1 1/2" in from that side...

I then decided how much of a gap I wanted and then trimmed that amount off the right hand straight edge.

I attached the two pieces using the word window punch from SU cut out of black CS and used pink brads to attach.

I used a hero arts word stamp delight vertically on the cut off piece.

The shadow oblong stamp and the flower are from the SU Oh so lovely set.

I used the SU corner rounder with the guide off to make the scallop border and then I punched holes in each of the scallops.

Another acetate card

Birthday cards for friends

This card was using an acetate jacket that I got from Newbury last year.I used peel-offs on the perlescant card which is behind the acetate and then again on the front left hand side.Crystals enhance the flowers. I then used fibers on the spine.

On the pearlescant card inside the acetate is some printed vellum from craftwork cards.

Dry embossing by HAND !!

This card I found to take to craft club we had to make a dry embossed card...well I already had this one done....BUT in the end I didnt go to club !!

So I thought I would share here anyways.

The daisy heads on front and the insert paper were from a CD from Carols studio

she does fantastic designs....

Click on the photos to see more clearly, the stencil used was a Marianne design.....I dont think I could do all that embossing again...LOL....I may have to sell all those brass stencils I have....EBay here I come

First Criss Cross card

I have wanted to make one of these cards ever since I saw them on SCS and today as it was raining I thought why not.....so here it is.
I thought they were quite easy to make, it took longer to choose paper and cardstock and colours etc.
The snow blossom punchies I received in a swap and it has made me DESIRE the set of stamps even more !!!!

Card made at club

This was the christmas card that I made last night at craft club.

I used rogate cs in Arabian blue and turquoise and plain white cs.

Cuttlebug embossing folder with white ink swiped over surface to lightly colour it.

SU snowman and karen foster snap alphabet.

SU oval punches in 2 sizes.Ribbon and white gel pen

I still need to add some sparkle or a gem or 2.....

Wedding Card

The stamps used for this card are SU-Fern Lace a beautiful stamp for background but a little awkward to use as it is so big.

The heart shdow and the marriage word stamps are from

I used cream and gold CS and versamagic ink in Red Magic.

I also used some of my RIBBON.......yeah for ribbon !!!!

Oh well better go get washed and dressed for the wedding :)

Inside of card

I have this *neat* little stamp from "Stamp your art out" Its great for the back of wedding cards.

I have put the initials of bride and grrom above the rear lights.

Colour challenge on SCS

On SCS there was a colour combo challenge I cannot remember the number but the colours were Groovy Guava and Soft Sky.

I dont have soft sky but had Blue Bayou and I thought they kinda went together so off I went......hee hee

When SU come to the UK I will be looking forward to joining in more of these colour combo challenges as I think they are great !!!

The background stamp was awkward to ink up per say , so I used my brayer to do it and it worked out ok.

60th Birthday Card

I was asked by a friend to make a 60th Birthday card for her hubby. His fave colour is green, and he is into gardening/allotments.

Made this last night but had switched PC off before I

uploaded it !!

I used bazzill trio pack of CS and papermania papers.

2 sizes of Oval scallop punch. Polka dots stamp set and a crystal.

This was a super easy card to make.

My first Bella Cards

Hello,

Well as mentioned in earlier post here are the Bella cards I made to give to *The Addicted Ladies* :)

Essentially the same card but in different colourways.

I used the cuttlebug retro squares embossing folder for the background.Prima flowers and crystals and brads and of course RIBBON...I had to break into my lovely wound ribbon cards...

I only have 2 plate holders to display the cards on and I sort of propped up the turq one but just as I took the picture it slipped LOL and I didnt have time to retake it as I had to leave to meet *The Ladies* !!!

This is a card made for the yahoo group I belong to.
Its a Cuttlebug Background Bloom Dots.
Stamps are Delight in Life and I used versamagic pretty petunia
and fabrico purple ink.

Pink Birthday Card

This is the card I made for my step-daughter's

birthday.

I used a 3" scallop punch and scallop frame stamp

in white ink inside it.

Both stamps are from Hero Arts.

I also used my new *love* cuttlebug embossing folder

I used white pink and rose red CS and the ink is rose red too.
