It's my birthday..................

........and I'll do what I want hee hee......

Well, we took Leo out for a walk and had a bacon butty and latte on the beach......lovely sunny day :)
Took a dp of tootsies in the sea....brrrrrrr it was a bit too cold for me but Leo went straight in and laid down in the sea...he loves it so much......

I love to see doggies running free tails wagging ears flapping in the breeze..... PERFECT....

I have had some lovely cards which I will show when I take them down....

Tha grandkids came over and Marley the doberman.....MAN is that dog ever HUGE......Leo could duck under him no trouble LOL...it was real funny seeing them chase each other....

Hmmm wonder what the afternoon will bring ??

OOPS !!

Has anyone ever cooked a roast dinner but FORGOTTEN to actually cook the roast ????

I did that yesterday.....prepared it all chicken and bacon, potatoes and lots of veg, yorkshires
the whole caboodle.....

3 mins before being ready Tony asked " this may be a silly question BUT where is the main course" ?????

OOPS and double OOPS....guess what we are having for tea tonight ?

Its my birthday !!!

Another year gone by....all too quickly......
I have been so so busy in the house since christmas....sorting my craft room, decorating
our bedroom, then the garden etc etc etc.....

I am hoping to get back into blogging and crafting more soon.....
Off out today to the quay for some shopping and lunching and more shopping :))

Missing in action

Thats how I feel at the moment....LOL.....if never rains what it pours.....we have had no heat or water a few weeks back and it took ages to sort it out......

We had a chemical flush done on the system.....that took all day and there were pipes everywhere and a big machine and the MUCK that came out was awful it was like thick black tar.....quite fascinating to watch it all mind.....This is what took over my whole landing for the day...!!

Once done we had heat and water...lovely....now we have developed a leak in the imersion tank in the airing cupboard....thats going into the header tank in the loft and dripping outside the house...so now the tank has to be replaced !!!

Then later this year we have to have a new boiler....so all my time has been taken up with sorting this out...and doing our bedroom...which we started before all this happened....otherwise we would have left it BUT now its started we have to see it through...so it seems the whole house is affected as bits are moved here and there.....oh boy it will be nice when finished but what a hassle....

In the PINK !!

Hi Everyone,

Happy Happy New Year to you all.......I came home from work today to a lovely pink and white room with a SILVER radiator....LOVE IT......

Its a colour with a number, I had it matched to a flower in the border I fell in love with :)

Have you noticed the lack of wallpaper and borders and indeed curtain pelmets...I had a real hard job finding what I wanted.....still I got there

I will show more pics of the border when done and the radiator when there is room in there hee hee, then I have the job of trying to put back ONLY what I want or need...then who knows what I will do with ALL the rest of the stuff hee hee

Happy new Year

Hi Everyone,

I know its an hour early LOL but Ihave been working today and will be up early again tomorrow so I am wishing it you all now.

My craft room is 3/4 pink and I love it....Tony beavered away today while I was in work which is great especially as itwasnt supposed to be started until the 3rd January....

I will be sure to post some pics next year !!!! LOL

Hope 2009 is a happy healthy and wealthy year for us all......

wardrobe gone !!

Well my craft room is being re-done.!!
All Sharons fault...LOL...

My fitted wardrobe and built in cupboards have been ripped out and gone....wow the room looks bigger.I cant wait to get it painted and get my 7' 6" worktop, wall to wall....

I am selling loads of my stuff that i dont want,need or use on ebay to fund all this activity

OMG !!! I am the parent of an ADULT !!!

Hi Everyone,

Oh my goodness...SIMON my son is 18 today !!!
Where did that time go ???
We had a lovely time at the weekend with my dad and sister and nephew, we all went out for a meal and had fun opening presents and eating cake !!
I will post some pics of then and now later but at the moment my PC ( new laptop ) is NOT playing ball...it keeps freezing and a system restore didnt sort it so it looks like it may have to go back :(

Hi Everyone,

Busy busy busy.....I am making a scrapbook/memory album for my son who is 18 ( OMG ) on 15th Dec....I have been collecting things fo ryears, always thinking I had loads of time.....well I did when he was 10-12 even 14 it was years away.....WELL NOT ANYMORE.....help....

A 12 x 12 page is SO scary to layout......I will show the pages when complete.....
Thank goodness all my cards are done, they will be addressed this weekend and are then good to go !!

RINGWOOD CRAFT SHOW SUNDAY 2nd NOVEMBER

I have been busy today pricing and labeling all my "STUFF" that I am taking to ringwood tomorrow.The Dorseet Stampers have a stall where members can sell there 2nd hand ( or in my case NEW ) stuff that they dont use or need or want anymore.....

Previous years have been well attended with good sales reported from all stalls.The proceeds from the door go to Breast Cancer, a worthy cause.......

I use the money made form selling my stash to buy more stuff LOL.....still it clears a space in my room, it also unearths things that I had forgotten I had (HORROR) stuff that is still in its packet unused....."Now why did I buy that " !!!....there must have been a reason at the time hee hee....

If you get a chance and live fairly local its on tomorrow 10 - 4 at the Ringwood Recreation Center

WOO HOO for me....

OH yes !! I have *****FINISHED***** my christmas cards....phew !! pressure off.
I have made 100 cards this year.....I feel better for having done them in batches of 10
I felt it was not such a task.....
I chose a design made it, if I liked it then I made another 9 easy peasy lemon squeezy.....

I made 3 different ones for my bestest stamping buddies, so I cant show those, I also made a little giftie for each of them which is really really cute. I will show those closer to christmas.....did you know its only 56 sleeps till santa ?????????

We havent done much stamping or making cards together this year as each of us for one reason or another had other things going on in our lives so hopefully next year we will be able to get together more and do what we love best...

Missing

Hi Everyone,

I know I have been missing for a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG while......

I had probs with PC, couldnt get onto blogger and when I could I couldnt post, then I was poorly for a few weeks.
Thought the PC was sorted loaded lots of cards to show, was going to start a new blog, then the PC wouldnt open up ANYTHING......managed to transfer lots onto flash stick pics and documents etc etc....

Got a new laptop now, so have been busy sorting that out and trasferring all the info...luckily I think I have everything but what a slow process as I could only have the old PC on for about 5-10 mins before it started making noises and lots of pop-ups etc etc....no evidence of any bugs that we could detect with the programmes we ran......

Anyhow, back in PC land :)
Will post a card once I can find it on this laptop, its vista premium which is a little different to windows 98 and XP

OMG.....I have no car...LOL....!!!

Hi Everyone,

Simon my son ( 17 ) has just today passed his driving test...first time :)
He is so chuffed, so am I....but now for the time being I have no car :(

He pinched it as soon as he got back and went to Tesco to do the shopping for me !!!

I am so nervous...I just wish he would come home LOL.....

Oh well thats another milestone passed....

I have my dad staying for a while, which is very weird without mum :(
I have been a touch upset over many things...the last few days....hopefully
I will pull myself together soon and get back into card making

Nestability frame tutorial

I also needed a get well card....boy I have been busy...July is one of THOSE months....LOL.....I still have an 18th card to make for my niece......This card is using pearly CS which I embossed the square in the middle, I then added a square of blue mirror CS then another blue layer with swirl image embossed in white.The flower and leaves are punched and I added lots of dots of liquid pearls....

Shrunk birthday

This card uses a hero arts stamp set.I stamped the image all over, then cut one out of navy CS and another in blue that I highlighted with glitter glue.

I wanted to add a shrunk flower too.....so I did...these are just so cute.There are words on the navy band but sadly they havent shown so well :(
