Sharons birthday more pics

Here are some more pics...this is the cute little turtle stamp from Inky antics....I used the sizzix shaker box die but altered the dimensions to fit the stamp....I am NOT a natural box maker and it took several attempts to get it right but I was pleased with the end result. Here is the birthday ensemble...the black and very vanilla is such an elegant combination I love it and I know Sharon does too.....

This is the toffifee box I used the cover of the original box to make a template now this one WAS easy LOL !!! I used the 5 point punch to make the flower and again the bella toile stamp on very vanilla......

This above box is the doughnut box....Jenny helped me to make the same box as the turtle one but larger...I dont know how she does it she makes it look so easy...... :) Thanks jenny......

Sharon's Birthday card and gifts

The following pictures are of the

gifts I made for Sharon for her birthday 5th April....I used SU black and very vanilla card and ribbon and the Bella Toile stamps.

The tall box holds a candle that I stamped with the bella toile I didnt take a pic of that sorry....the flat box holds some Toffifee chocs. The larger square box holds a .......wait for it......Krispy Kreme doughnut.......I know I know definately lost the plot making a box for a doughnut :)) hee hee

Tracey's Birthday Card

Happy Birthday Tracey....hope you are having a great birthday !!

Traceys fave colour is....................PINK......................so I had to use Pretty in Pink and white with a hint of sage green to make this card.
I used the SU ornament punch ( gotta love ebay ) to make the vase and once cut out I cut a snip off the bottom to make it flat then I embossed it using a CB folder...love that effect....
Hope she likes it....what do you think ???

Easter Gifts

I made these easter gifts for my son Simon and his girlfriend Kelly after seeing some ( a lot actually ) on Becky's blog link to the left .... thankfully here in the UK we dont do things for all school friends not that Simon is in school anymore.....The mini or micro eggs came from Tesco but they do them in Asda as well they are real cute and only 99p bag and 1 bag filled both boxes with a few left over for the maker LOL.......

I used Pretty in Pink, White and Barely Banana for Kellys and Bashful Blue White and Barely Banana for Simons. I used the wide oval punch to make the window and put some acetate behind it I used the Good Egg stamp set and the sizzix die box. They were good fun to make...I can see this box being used for allsorts of occasions.....
Bye for now

Mother's Day 2010

Happy Mother's Day to all mums out there......this is what greeted me this morning when I got up.....the EJ gift bag had a gift card inside for £10 towards a bead for my Chamilia bracelet...isnt my son Simon sweet :)) the words he wrote in the card brought a lump to my throat :))
Hope you all have a great day......we went out for a cycle/walk with Leo this morning, the sun was shining and it was brilliant, the scenery was just fab !!
We came back and sat in the garden with a Latte as the coffee shop where we went was closed, didnt open until 10.30 and we were there at 10 !! typical.......
I took some time out to remember my mum who died nearly 2 years ago......last year I decided that I would still make a card for her each year as a sort of remembrance as I have lots of lovely mothers day stamps and I just couldnt get rid of them so I thought that way I could use them and remember her....love you mum, always will, god bless, :))
