I'm so excited.. !!!!

Tony thinks I have lost the plot....I'm so excited with my new idea for my nesties...

These are magnetic knife racks from Ikea...gotta love that place :)

They are 55cm long and boy are they strong magnets but they are BRILLIANT for storing the nesties....

As you can see I still have some space...must rectify that soon....hee hee

I still have space for another 2 racks above !!!

More work planned over the weekend so will post more pics as we do the jobs :))

My worktop is UP

Woo Hoo my worktop is UP....I love it.

Its 7' 6" long wall to wall....I still have my other desk tucked under on the right...dont know if it will stay or not...yet to be decided..it has my pull out drawer for my cutter and scor-pal...so it depends whether they will work anywhere else...

Wall for punch rails ??

I had an idea !!!...Tony said "Oh no"...hee hee

The wall to the right of the window is just the right width for the towel rails from Ikea ( 55cms )

so I had this idea for putting the towel rails up like a ladder for my SU punches......will let you know if thats what I do !!

I now have carpet !!

Woo hoo !! I have carpet...Leo loves it as you can see.....he rolled all over it and sniffed every corner LOL.....its lovely...now to start re-filling the room.....

Hi Everyone,

OK more pics the room is painted now and the border up and the blind.

The uprights are up for my shelves which will be above my die cutting desk......

The other wall will have shelves on it too but only when the work surface is up and I can decide where to put things.

The carpet should be fitted one afternoon next week....cant wait......I love the room !!

In the PINK !!

Hi Everyone,

Happy Happy New Year to you all.......I came home from work today to a lovely pink and white room with a SILVER radiator....LOVE IT......

Its a colour with a number, I had it matched to a flower in the border I fell in love with :)

Have you noticed the lack of wallpaper and borders and indeed curtain pelmets...I had a real hard job finding what I wanted.....still I got there

I will show more pics of the border when done and the radiator when there is room in there hee hee, then I have the job of trying to put back ONLY what I want or need...then who knows what I will do with ALL the rest of the stuff hee hee

Happy new Year

Hi Everyone,

I know its an hour early LOL but Ihave been working today and will be up early again tomorrow so I am wishing it you all now.

My craft room is 3/4 pink and I love it....Tony beavered away today while I was in work which is great especially as itwasnt supposed to be started until the 3rd January....

I will be sure to post some pics next year !!!! LOL

Hope 2009 is a happy healthy and wealthy year for us all......

wardrobe gone !!

Hi Everyone,

Well my craft room is being re-done.!!
All Sharons fault...LOL...

My fitted wardrobe and built in cupboards have been ripped out and gone....wow the room looks bigger.I cant wait to get it painted and get my 7' 6" worktop, wall to wall....

I am selling loads of my stuff that i dont want,need or use on ebay to fund all this activity

OMG !!! I am the parent of an ADULT !!!

Hi Everyone,

Oh my goodness...SIMON my son is 18 today !!!
Where did that time go ???
We had a lovely time at the weekend with my dad and sister and nephew, we all went out for a meal and had fun opening presents and eating cake !!
I will post some pics of then and now later but at the moment my PC ( new laptop ) is NOT playing ball...it keeps freezing and a system restore didnt sort it so it looks like it may have to go back :(

Addicted Ladies xmas 2008 cards

Hi Everyone,

Last post for now as I feel rough with this flu.....

I saw this medallion on somones blog a few months ago and thankfully had made the cards then as I wouldnt have felt like doing them now...also thankfully I have made all my xmas cards weeks ago.....

This card uses the elzybells eskimo with robin......and the word stamp is there's also.

The paper was from glitterpot (I think ) The cardstock is SU.

I used the nestabilities large scallop circle and EK sucess ornate heart punch to do the punching....you punch them every other scallop and voila the middle bit falls out !!

Very effective, I saw it on a wedding card but what a perfect frame for anything...

My calender

Hi Everyone,

The addicted ladies and I each make a calender every year...this year for various reasons we havent made any :( well not our usual type anyways....

I made this one for Jenny as Mary and Sharon are swapping after xmas.

I used tree for all seasons...which was quite spooky as Jenny used the same set for the calender she made too.

I used a photo frame that another dorset stamper Val had shown us ......

Christmas gifts

Hi Everyone,

My new header picture is of some xmas gifts I made for the addicted ladies.

I will show a picture of the inside in a moment....

I bought some car air freshners from yankee candle ( I love that shop ) and slipped them inside.

This flavour is my fave although I cannot smell anything at the moment as I have flu !! mind you I cannot taste anything either....

You could use hot choc sachets or tea sachets too....

Hi Everyone,

Busy busy busy.....I am making a scrapbook/memory album for my son who is 18 ( OMG ) on 15th Dec....I have been collecting things fo ryears, always thinking I had loads of time.....well I did when he was 10-12 even 14 it was years away.....WELL NOT ANYMORE.....help....

A 12 x 12 page is SO scary to layout......I will show the pages when complete.....
Thank goodness all my cards are done, they will be addressed this weekend and are then good to go !!

RINGWOOD CRAFT SHOW SUNDAY 2nd NOVEMBER

I have been busy today pricing and labeling all my "STUFF" that I am taking to ringwood tomorrow.The Dorseet Stampers have a stall where members can sell there 2nd hand ( or in my case NEW ) stuff that they dont use or need or want anymore.....

Previous years have been well attended with good sales reported from all stalls.The proceeds from the door go to Breast Cancer, a worthy cause.......

I use the money made form selling my stash to buy more stuff LOL.....still it clears a space in my room, it also unearths things that I had forgotten I had (HORROR) stuff that is still in its packet unused....."Now why did I buy that " !!!....there must have been a reason at the time hee hee....

If you get a chance and live fairly local its on tomorrow 10 - 4 at the Ringwood Recreation Center
