Ribbon Storage again..... !!

Well I *think* I have finally cracked it and sorted my stash of SU ribbon into some sort of order.
Having spent hours exchanging ideas with Jenny and searching the net for something to buy/make etc...I decided to go this way.
I bought some 1/2" beading from B&Q got them to cut it into the lengths I wanted and then I stuck it to the front of each of the shelves to stop the ribbon reels falling off....as the shelves are 7" deep I had to put something behind the reels to stop them rolling backwards and by doing this I know have another free shelf for when I accumulate more ribbon LOL....
What do you think.....the whole thing cost me £5.... not bad......

First project

We made a side step card and easter treat bag filled with mini eggs....this was using the A good egg SU set.....we made them in this colour way but there were other colourways to look at as well.....these were fun, quick and easy to make and a great idea for a treat for the family....

Thank-you cards

I knew the day would be amazing so I was very good and made my thank-you crads BEFORE the day !!! I also decorated the envelopes.....

Raffle Table

This was the prize table the 3 gifts to the left were for the main raffle and the 8 to the other side were the table prize patrol gifts....... dont they look good.....

SU Extravaganza !!

WOWEE.....what a day we had at Jenny and Jo's first SU extravaganza....and I hope its not their last. It was A-MA-ZING......
We registered and got a lovely pack with name peg, pen and notepad and ruler all had DSP on....we went to out tables that had name places and a covered tissue box and a bottle of water in a holder with a mini choccie in a pocket and again a name tag. Also on each table was a holder filled with sweets and mini chocs for us to pick on as we crafted !!
We made 3 projects, 2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon.
Lunch was provided all in a white lunch bag that had been decorated with DSP and butterfly punches fitting in with the rest of the themes.......they had out names on them too !!
They did 2 prize patrol raffles with prizes for each table which was lovely.
They also did a main raffle......sadly I didnt win any of the prizes BUT for the project in the afternoon they had a box on each table but no stamp set and then from a hidden box.....they pulled out a load of bags with the stamp set needed to complete the project for EVERY person there !!!! How cool is that...it was like our own mini SU convention......
There were fabulous cards and bags and boxes and alsorts of other things on display.
Jenny and Jo's mum helped and sorted out the lunch for everyone and kept us in tea and coffee and cakes....what more can a crafter ask for !!
It was a truly FABULOUS day......and I cant wait for the next one !!!!
Thanks Jenny and Jo and Sue and Shirley......
I took lots of photos so I will try and upload those tomorrow....

Robin

This is a close up of the card.....it is a lot of cutting out and playing with the SAMJ but I think he is just so cute, dont you ???

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

I joined a swap on an internet group I belong to and I wanted to do Happy New Year cards......and my friend Jenny had done a gorgeous robin card for christmas that I loved :) so I adapted that......
The bird is actually from the good friend stamp set from SU....I stamped it 3 times, once on creamy caramel, chocolate chip and then ruby red and paper pieced it together.....what fun !!!! I used the stamp-a-ma-jig loads with this card.......
