Point about Criss cross cards

Hello everyone !!
Thanks for the lovely comments about the criss cross card...they are really easy to make but I thought I should just add a comment about the paper.....
Most cards I saw on SCS used double sided paper.....

The first paper I was using had the words Let it Snow written all over so I cut the 4 x 5 piece then cut it in half diagonally....bottom left piece fitted fine onto the main card....top right however didnt !!! it was upside down AND back to front.... LOL.....I checked all measurements etc.....all ok.....then realised about the DS paper.

SO....you either use DS paper, or 2 pieces of co-ordinating paper, or if you want the same paper both sides of the crisscross then you will need 2 pieces of the same paper....
Just thought I would share that with you all to save you the trouble...

Oh well live and learn as they say.....
Until then

Hi Janette

Thanks for the advice when making the Crisscross card, it's the sort of advice I need as I'm hoping to do one this weekend, otherwise I would probably done what you had done.(does that make sense?) Saw the card in 'real life' today and it's lovely.
